Donald J. Trump is the richest president the United States has ever had. That accolade itself is one of his biggest strengths he is successful and at something other than politics, which is a refreshing choice for the average american fed up with the political system. On top of being a successful businessman he is relatable. Throughout his campaign the endless amount of revenue and his ability to make the common American feel like they had a voice is the main reason he sits in the oval office today. However, with great strengths usually comes great weakness. Trump can be narcissistic in nature, rude, insulting, disrespectful, and has never held a political office before. Due to his strengths his opportunities are endless. He funded most of his own campaign himself and was able to travel anywhere in the country on his private jet or helicopter to further his campaign. With all of the wealth and opportunity though Trump has some threats to his campaign as well. One he doesn’t know when to be quiet and has a tendency to say very inappropriate things, this would probably be his biggest threat but he does have some questionable business dealings as well. Some of his overseas business interests raised red flags during the campaign like his close ties with Vladimir Putin, and Russia but in the end his strengths and opportunity beat out his weaknesses and his campaign threats.
Trumps Campaign did a great job though of portraying him as the man that would “Make America Great Again.” He was constantly on the move visiting important scenes around the country hitting many locations in swing states, states that many thought Hillary Clinton would surely win but didn’t. Possibly one of the most important things he did was make appearances at big events and even some crisis scenes like Haiti after it was destroyed by hurricane Mathew. Showing the American people his compassion but most of all his ability to relate with the common man. Like when he ate a pork chop on a stick at the Iowa State Fair.
Now to focus on what Trumps running issue positions were we would have to start with his firm immigration position. Trump pledged to build a wall protecting the country’s southern border to keep out illegal immigrants. His stance on Gun control was equally appealing since he stood behind our second amendment rights all the way. He even frequently flaunted the fact that he himself has a conceal and carry permit in the state of New York. The biggest promise he made to everyone though was to create american jobs and that is exactly what he has already started to do take a look https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhMcfb89jdk. Donald Trump’s campaign ran on the dreams of the modern middle class American.
Trumps campaign team clearly got the job done though and made him the 45th president of The United States of America. His team had a tremendous amount of turnover but there were a few that gave him the extra push he needed to soar into the White House. Kellyanne Conway was one of the greatest contributors, Trumps campaign manger in the end and now his white house Counselor to the President. Conway had known the President for years ever since she lived in one of his buildings.  He has taken her advise on many a venture in the past and would trust her judgment now as well plus having the backing of a strong woman could only help his campaign. Another notable contribution came from Steve Bannon his chief executive and promoted pollster. Bannon pointed Trumps campaign in the right direction and helped him win the presidency. As a formal Naval Officer Bannon added some military presence to the Trump campaign, which in the end all of it made an impact because Donald J. Trump became our 45th president.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frI2PgUf8Gg

Trumps Agenda Donald Trumps website had very little when it came to the matter of his stances on political issues. However I was able to find almost all conservative politicians and there views on issue on http://www.ontheissues.org/default.htm . Then I took a look at which issues Trump deemed most important throughout his campaign and it was clear that budget and economy, immigration, and National Security were his top three.             When it came to the economy Trumps position was quite clear he planned to cut taxes from 35 percent down to 15 percent on corporations to allow them to have a larger budget for hiring American employees. This would also give some of the larger corporate organizations incentives to keep them from moving overseas. His ties to the business world and his experience in that area was what he used to assure his acolytes that he would come through on his promises in this area. Also when it came to t...

My pop culture item within the political race for the presidency I chose the Saturday Night live sketch of the first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Now both candidates in this sketch were portrayed by mostly their faults in order to create humor and who doesn’t love a good laugh right? However, Trumps image in which he worked so hard to build and then worked hard to rebuild after a few mistakes along the way was completely wrecked by the SNL crew.             First off Trump took great pride in looking the part physically all the way through the campaign. He was well groomed and wore the black suite with the red power tie to all of his events portraying a real sense of leadership and dominance. Alec Baldwin did portray Trump with the same suite yet the wig he used to make the hair was an awful resemblance. Even though Trumps hair is somewhat of an enigma it is not that bad. Second of all the make-up...

The first two news outlets I took a look at were the Washington Times and Fox news. Both had completely different stories brewing over the Trump administration but both gave great insights into their reporting style.              If we look at Fox news first their main story was over Trumps promise to have a tax plan put in place by August. Trumps administration has already said that this is nearly impossible and they don’t believe it will be done according to the scheduled time line. Fox was actually not critical of the president’s team in anyway. They were very supportive talking about how this is a normal occurrence when it comes to a party switch in the white house. It took Reagan two years to put in a tax plan and they seem to understand that the August promise was simply a normal campaign promise that Trump used to further his cause.        ...
